BOBBY

Poor Bobby, our celebrity dog featured in the press as our longest inmate, is back !! He went to a lovely home but fell madly in love with his new mum to such an extent that he couldn't bear to be parted from her. This was completely new behaviour for him. This boy is a mystery in a puzzle in an enigma but we are determined to find him the right home. He now has an updated profile: he doesn't now appear to have a problem with men;he's happy for joggers /cyclists to go past no problem; He's fine meeting other dogs out and about ; He doesn't like cats or pigeons . He only pulls on the lead for the first few minutes then walks nicely. He needs to be away from livestock and he would need careful/controlled introductions to visitors. If he bonds with his next person to the same extent they will need to gradually lengthen the time they are away from him- when left he can be very vocal so no near neighbours or else ones that are deaf!! Are you his special person ???
STITCH
Hello I'm Stitch. I 'm a springer spaniel x .I'm like a springer but with shorter legs !! I'm a friendly boy and have got on with all the people and dogs I 've met here. I can be a bit shy with big scarey men but soon come around. I 'm absolutely ball mad.I'm crate trained and travel well but I do get very anxious and vocal when left alone - so I need to either have someone around or else have someone to slowly teach me how to overcome that. I'm neutered and was born in 2020. I ve lived in a home before so shouldn't take long to get back to being housetrained. Please drop by to play ball !!
CHARLIE
This is Charlie - the last of the 3 ferals that came into us at Christmas. He was always the most scared. He 's not quite ready to start the next chapter of his life yet unless a very special home comes along. He's accepting strokes and a lead now and realises he actually likes itonce he stops panicking ! He is great with other dogs so a calm confident neutered female dog would really help him move forward. We are in no rush for him to leave the rescue it's more important that we find the right home for him. He is id chipped and vaccinated but at only 8 months old is too young to be neutered just yet.
JERRY SPRINGER !

Hi I m a springer spaniel about 4 years old neutered boy - I'm a typical springer can be a bit dizzy on the lead but do great zoomies ! I love a cuddle once I can sit quietly.I'm looking for a home in a quiet location with someone who understands springers. I have no experience with children so would prefer an adult home.I travel fine and have been ok with all the dogs I've met here. I can be a bit hand shy and wary of some men but have improved loads while I ve been here . I 'd really like a home of my own please !!
MAX
hello I'm Max a 7 year old neutered male boxer.I had to have a big dental when I came in but I 'm all healed now and feel a lot better.I also had poorly ears but thats been sorted too. While they were doing that they tested my blood and gave me a clean bill of health. I'm a friendly boy and love a fuss and I ve got on fine with all the other dogs here. I can be a bit stubborn and when I think I 've walked far enough I sit down so that it 's known I want to go home !!I can get a bit stiff sometimes but a dollop of loxicom keeps me right. I would like a calm quiet home with people that aren't hyper. I'm quite a big boy but Donna says I 'm amazing and I m not going to argue with that !!
